We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Something To Do for your personal, non-commercial use.

• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device
• Backing up your data (we recommend using the iCloud backup feature)
• Ensuring you have the right to save and store the places and information you add
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

Your Data

You own your data. All places, notes, and information you create are stored locally on your device and belong to you.

We are not responsible for:

• Loss of data due to device failure, deletion, or other causes
• Data backup failures (including iCloud)
• Accuracy of location data provided by Apple Maps
• Availability of third-party services (Apple Maps, iCloud)

💡 Tip: Regularly export and backup your data to prevent loss.

Service Availability

Something To Do is provided "as is" and "as available." We strive to keep the app working smoothly, but we don't guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• That the app will meet all your requirements
• That all bugs will be fixed immediately
• Compatibility with all devices or iOS versions

We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without notice.

Something To Do uses third-party services from Apple:

Apple Maps

Map data and geocoding

iCloud

Optional backup service

Location Services

Current location on map and optional geofencing notifications

Spotlight Search

System-wide search for your saved places (all data remains on your device)

Siri & App Intents

Optional voice commands for adding places and getting recommendations (processed on your device)

Local AI Processing

On-device language models for chat recommendations (no data sent to external services)

Photo Library

Optional: Save journey recap images and data visualizations (add-only access)

These services are governed by Apple's terms of service, not ours. We're not responsible for their availability or performance.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or other intangible losses.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of any significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

You can stop using Something To Do at any time by deleting it from your device. We may also terminate or suspend access to the app at any time, for any reason, without notice (I will try to give you a few days notice).

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
